Julius B. Bagley, P.E. President/CEO/CFO

Mr. Bagley has over twenty years of experience in cable, satellite, and cryptographic technology, project and technical product management. He is currently Chief Executive Officer for ConFocus and is responsible for strategic direction, oversight of business development activities and consulting at ConFocus Technologies, Inc. Before joining ConFocus, Mr. Bagley founded Renaissance Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in Digital TV and Cable technologies. Mr. Bagley has also held various engineering research, development and management positions at Scientific-Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia and Tranceive Technologies of San Diego, CA. He has directed the development of high volume Digital and advanced analog set-top box products and systems by Scientific Atlanta and various clients. Mr. Bagley is a major contributor or author of numerous technology standards in the area of broadcast and cable TV, in particular SCTE-DVS, ATSC, DAViC, and OpenCable. Mr. Bagley holds several patents in the area of display technology, cable set-top technology and digital cable multiplexing technology. Mr. Bagley holds a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Bagley is a licensed Professional Engineer for the State of Georgia.
 

Kenji Takeuchi Vice President, Engineering/CTO

Mr. Takeuchi has extensive experience in digital set-top box design, firmware development, digital signal processing, and program management. He has over nine years of experience in the research and development of embedded software products. Kenji was responsible for firmware development and DSP algorithms at Iomega Corporation as well as digital set-top box software design at Scientific-Atlanta. Kenji was also an architect for Tranceive Technologies' client-server interactive digital television software products for cable headend systems and digital set-top boxes. Currently, Mr. Takeuchi is overseeing and contributing to the architecture, development and technical roadmap of digital television products in development at various clients. Kenji also has experience in digital set-top box deployments with customers around the world. Mr. Takeuchi has a Masters of Science in the field of Digital Control Systems from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
 

Brad Bitterman Chief Scientist/Architect/CIO

Mr. Bitterman has over eight years of experience in the research and development of embedded software products. He has extensive experience in digital set-top box design, real time firmware development, digital signal processing, conditional access systems and extensive work with DVB and SCTE standards. He has been involved in the development of high volume Digital set-top box products and systems by Scientific Atlanta, Motorola/General Instrument and various world set-top manufacturers. Mr. Bitterman has a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
